Greetings:
We are a small group who want to honor our heavenly Father and His Son. How, in this day and age of computers and the Internet could we serve Him and be an encouragement to the rest of His children?
One of my sons suggested we start an e-mail that would be sent to those interested in reading and sharing their joys, insights, and if appropriate their sorrows as we await the return of our Creator, Savior and soon coming King.
We call ourselves Messianic because we believe the whole Bible is the inspired word of God. That Messiah came 2000 years ago to be the promised sacrifice for our sins and did not do away with the Torah. Our Messiah is now in Heaven seated at the right hand of the Father interceding for those He indwells. He will return, establish His Kingdom in Jerusalem, and begin His rule over the whole house of Israel.
It is our desire to keep this email short and helpful.
The frequency will depend on the response of our readers, the material and time available.
We are hoping to have short articles, and topics that would include scripture verses, timely suggestions, quotes, Spiritual encouragement, points of interest, All for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Messiah. (Ephesians 4:12 UKJV)
We will be using the name YHVH or Yahweh for LORD and Yeshua for Jesus and Messiah for Christ in our commentary. All Scripture will be printed as taken from various versions. It is not our intent to offend or get embroiled in debates over dividing doctrine. Our intent is to build up the body of Messiah and to know and do the will of our Savior, who said –
