Rev 1:1 The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show to his servants the things that must soon take place…

Last issue we questioned if we should be involved in the governments of this world - especially those that have a Republic form of government. I suggest we* be aware of all facets of governing as that is why Messiah called us. He will return and establish a worldwide ruling government; those called and actively preparing will reign, rule, assist, and be involved in that government.

Our focus must be on the Kingdom of God (government) and His righteousness.

Matt 6:33 "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness…

Jesus (Yeshua ‘The Prophet) Prophesied His Return:

Matthew 16:27-28 (NKJV) "For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works…"

Matthew 24:30 "Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

Revelation 1:7 Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.

Then He Shall Reign (Government)

Rev 1:5 and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the first-born of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth…

Rev 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there arose loud voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord, and of His Christ; and He will reign forever and ever."

Rev 12:10 And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, "Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, who accuses them before our God day and night.

Rev 5:10 NKJV And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth." (make no mistake - Messiah will return and reign on THIS earth)

Daniel 7:27 Then the kingdom and dominion, And the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven, Shall be given to the people, the saints of the Most High. His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, And all dominions shall serve and obey Him.'

Dan 7:17 'Those great beasts, which are four, are four kings which arise out of the earth. 18 But the saints of the Most High shall receive the kingdom, and possess the kingdom forever, even forever and ever.'

Rev 16:14 for they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them together for the war of the great day of God, the Almighty.

Rev 17:12 "And the ten horns which you saw are ten kings, who have not yet received a kingdom, but they receive authority as kings with the beast for one hour.

Rev 17:17 "For God has put it in their hearts to execute His purpose by having a common purpose, and by giving their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God should be fulfilled.

Rev 19:19 And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies, assembled to make war against Him who sat upon the horse, and against His army.

Rev 17:14 "These will wage war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, because He is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those who are with Him are the called and chosen and faithful."

Rev 21:24 …the nations shall walk by its light, and the kings of the earth shall bring their glory into it.

Psalms 102:22 When the peoples are gathered together, And the kingdoms, to serve the LORD.

Isa 9:6 For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. 7 There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace, On the throne of David and over his kingdom, To establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness From then on and forevermore. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will accomplish this.

Dan 2:44 "And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which will never be destroyed, and that kingdom will not be left for another people; it will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, but it will itself endure forever. 45 Inasmuch as you saw that a stone was cut out of the mountain without hands and that it crushed the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold, the great God has made known to the king what will take place in the future; so the dream is true, and its interpretation is trustworthy."

Dan 7:13 " I was watching in the night visions, And behold, One like the Son of Man, Coming with the clouds of heaven! He came to the Ancient of Days, And they brought Him near before Him. 14 Then to Him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, That all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion, Which shall not pass away, And His kingdom the one Which shall not be destroyed.

He (the Anointed One) shall sit upon The Throne of David (Government)

Jeremiah 23:5 (ESV) "Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will raise up for David a righteous Branch, and he shall reign as king and deal wisely, and shall execute justice and righteousness in the land.

Acts 15:15 "And with this the words of the prophets agree, just as it is written: 16 'After this I will return And will rebuild the tabernacle of David, which has fallen down; I will rebuild its ruins, And I will set it up;

Amos 9:11-12 " On that day I will raise up The tabernacle of David, which has fallen down, And repair its damages; I will raise up its ruins, And rebuild it as in the days of old; That they may possess the remnant of Edom, And all the Gentiles who are called by My name," Says the LORD who does this thing.

It is the personal opinion of this writer that those called by the Father are to prepare for ruling and reigning with Yeshua (Jesus). Many of the parables are based upon the Kingdom and faithfully using the talents, He has provided, to prove we are worthy to reign and bear the Name of our Savior.

20:8 A king who sits on the throne of justice Disperses all evil with his eyes.

25:5 Take away the wicked from before the king, And his throne will be established in righteousness.

16:12 It is an abomination for kings to commit wickedness, For a throne is established on righteousness.

Question - For future members of the coming Government of God:

How would you handle the Immigration issue?

A lady sent the following letter to the Editor of her local newspaper.

Her point:

Recently large demonstrations have taken place across the country protesting the fact that Congress is finally addressing the issue of illegal immigration.  Certain people are angry that the US might protect its own borders, might make it harder to sneak into this country and, once here, to stay indefinitely.

Let me see if I correctly understand the thinking behind these protests.  Let's say I break into your house.  Let's say that when you discover me in your house, you insist that I leave.

But I say, ‘No!  I like it here.  It's better than my house.  I've made all the beds and washed the dishes and did the laundry and swept the floors.  I’ve done all the things you don't like to do.  I'm hard-working and honest (except for when I broke into your house).’

According to the protesters:
- You are Required to let me stay in your house.
- You are Required to feed me.
- You are Required to add me to your family's insurance plan.
- You are Required to Educate my kids.
- You are Required to Provide other benefits to me & to my family.

My husband will do all of your yard work because he is also hard-working and honest (except for that breaking in part).

If you try to call the police or force me out, I will call my friends who will picket your house carrying signs that proclaim my RIGHT to be there.

It's only fair, after all, because you have a nicer house than I do, and I’m just trying to better myself.  I'm a hard-working and honest, person, except for, well, you know, I did break into your house.

And what a deal it is for me!!!

I live in your house, contributing only a fraction of the cost of my keep, and there is nothing you can do about it without being accused of cold, uncaring, selfish, prejudiced, and bigoted behavior.  Oh yeah, and I DEMAND that you learn MY LANGUAGE so that you can communicate with me.

Why can't people see how ridiculous this is?
